Infant feeding

All the other babies my age can bite you... I am a toothless wonder, how else should I inflict pain? Lets try pinching!

OUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was all planned with biting - a firm no, whip em off quick, and they get the message (yes, I know its great to know exactly how to deal with it when its not happening ). He is 9 months though, not a tooth in sight, so has opted for pinching instead.

He's always done sort of kneading, but now the aim is to grab the teeniest amount of skin possible and squeeze (preferably with some nails digging in and twisting round).

I'm covered in teeny tiny bruises and feeding is becoming a misery.

Help

Biting plan works for nipping as well.
My dd used to get her nails into my bingo wings as well as the boob, but soon got the message

Same plan. Wait for the 'pinch & twist'

What about getting a nursing necklace or something similar. Even giving your lo a toy to fiddle with instead of mum.
