When did daytime feeds become regular?

DD is 12wo and EBF. She goes for a big stretch at night (usually 8-5) and wakes for a quick feed before going straight back down until about 7-7.30. I'm confident that as she gets older she'll drop that night feed and sleep right through.

I was curious though when people started noticing the daytime feeds get more regular? With the exception of the first & last feed it's difficult to predict when she'll be hungry. Sometimes she'll go 3 hours, other times she'll be hungry again an hour later. Her daytime naps are still not regular so I'm wondering if it's related to that?

TIA

In my experience it's not related to naps as dc1 was a terrible cat napper but fed to a predictable pattern from about 12 weeks. Dc2 napped brilliantly at set times but had no pattern to his feeds until he was on solids.

Wow I'm envious of your nights my dd still wakes up more than that at 7months! She is also bf and didn't really get into a routine with feeds until a couple of weeks ago once on a fair amount of solids.

DD is 7 months. Naps the same 3 times daily, feeds 2/3 hr apart. Some babies are a bit random it seems! Grin

Thanks everyone. I'm not really complaining. She's a very easy baby so far so I know I'm really lucky. I was just curious. I've got a social thing planned for a couple of weeks time that I would need to leave her with DH for a couple of hours for (first time since she's been born!) She won't take a bottle despite my best efforts so it would be nice to know that she won't be starving & grumpy by the time I get back Sad
