Reflux??

Hi fellow mums. I'm hoping someone may be able to help based on their own experience.

My daughter was diagnosed with reflux, she was bringing up milk, although not projectile and because she was very upset 90mins after feeding. She was prescribed Gaviscon which didn't do much, except make her constipated and the milk she was brining up was just thicker, so I stopped giving it to her and went back to the natural option of just sitting her up for 30mins after feeding. This had been working for the past 10+ weeks. Now this past week, she has been really upset in the evenings and looks like she's in pain, she takes the bottle.. Then refuses it before wanting it again. Last night, she bought up a lot of clear liquid with a bit of curdled milk and was then her happy self again.

Is this reflux still?? Is there anything I can do for her other than Gaviscon as this just seems to give her constipation which is just as uncomfortable for her.

Thank you in advance for the advice x

It could be reflux still, or she could have picked up a bug. Does she arch her back and go stiff? And fuss at the bottle when feeding? Does she wake and cry hard in the night? Is her stomach bloated and hard?
Worth going back to GP. If Gaviscon isn't working, ask about Zantac/Ranitidine which acts in a different way.

She is arching her back and seems very uncomfortable and upset. Once she's settled she the sleeps for 10hrs and wakes up happy. Throughout the day she's a happy little thing and takes her feed with no issue. It just seems to be in the evenings. Crying, tears, and will switch between wanting the bottle and then rejecting it??
