Infant feeding

7month old won't bf much in day since weaning

I have a 7 month old dd. Since weaning onto solids she has taken less and less in the way of daytime breastfeeds. She doesn't have masses of food yet so I don't think it's that she's full and a bf is offered an hour or so before food. Presumably because of this she is waking and feeding 5-6 times at night despite previously only waking twice so I'm bloody shattered!

Has anyone had this? Any advice? She won't take a bottle and has at most 20mls of water or milk out of a cup.

My 6 1/2 month old is similar to a lesser extent. She picks at 2 meals a day but now fusses abd eats lightly whenever we are out. Has a long cluster feed type session before bed.

I recently started offering tap water after meals, while still in the high chair, from a doidy cup. This was for thirst as it's warmer.
Weirdly it improved her feeding slightly.
I also leave it longer before offering boob, and set myself up for a longer feed just before nap time. At the moment this seems to appeal to her more.

My DS reverse cycled when we began weaning and would reject daytime feeds or only take a fraction of his usual amount, then feed loads overnight. His sleep was generally more unsettled as well. This seems common and it wasn't a sign of anything wrong, maybe just the upheaval or learning to eat and digest new foods?! It resolved itself after a week I think. He has only just started dropping down his milk feeds at 8 months though.
