Infant feeding

Dropping the dream feed

Hello
My 8 mo is doing well. On 3 meals (blw) a day plus milk around 7,12:30,3 and 7.
He's 75 percentile gone up from 50.
He still has dream feed at 10. The issue is he is now waking for it. I've been gradually dropping the amount down so now he's at 3oz. I want to give it up as I think (but not sure) he doesn't need it anymore. However he's waking for it so not sure if just easier to carry on. Last night he seemed hungry still so breastfed him too. Usually he goes back to sleep no trouble but having dropped down to 3 from 4 oz he didn't settle without more milk which makes me think he might still be hungry?
He sleeps well. 7-7 with the dream feed.
I thought about bringing the df forward to 9:30 so he hasn't woken already. Anyone else?
Sorry not a major issue just don't want it to become a habit and a bit confused by whether he needs it still as he's a fatty!!

I think bringing it forward so he's still asleep and then further reducing the amount might work. Hard to remember as the dream feed was dh's department, but I'm pretty sure ds2 did the same & the key was getting to him before he woke up.
