Breast pump

I have one that I have used twice (not for 2 babies, I mean I have only expressed two times or 2 bottles then DS decided he really preferred it on tap Smile) and it seems a shame to waste it as I don't need it at all any more.

I have googled the possibilities of donating it, but gotten nowhere. Any ideas of what I could do with it?

Depending what type of pump it is, you could sell it on ebay. Or save to give to a friend who's having a baby?

With all good conscience however, we should only really sell/ hand-down closed-system pumps... (Although plenty of people sell every all all type of pump on ebay and you could argue that the responsibility is with the buyer to fully research the implications of buying a used pump. I grapple with this as I have a Medela swing I used for a few months that I'm not sure what to do with. I could get a fair bit for it on ebay, but I know that it's not really the right thing to do. So, for now it's sitting gathering dust in the spare room).

See here for what I mean about open vs. closed pumps, etc
