would this make a good nursing bra?

I bought a pack of these the other day, are they ok as a nursing bra? I just remember how expensive the proper clip down ones were with my other 2dcs and this seems to fulfill the function of accessibility!

My friend cut nipple holes out of normal cheap bras. She just popped a breast pad in and fished it out to feed. She has massive boobs and she said it kept her covered too.

I guess it would depend on how big your boobs are. Those would offer me no support and may get all twisted up after pushing up/down to get your boob out.
In my experience strapless bras just work their way down my body.
I think I'd just go for 2 standard nursing bras. Then you've got one to wear and one to wash.

The h&m nursing bras are good and pretty cheap. I'd struggle with twisting the bandeau one too. Also your boobs might be too big to fit in them!

I wouldn't but then i don't get on with strapless bras well anyway. I've got the Emma jane next generation nursing bras. About £11 and work well for me.

To be honest with you I bough two nursing bras with clips, but I use my normal bras for nursing too. As long as you hve low neckline it's really easy. Just flop it out of the cup and over the top (can't think of another way to describe) nursing bras are a waste of money in my opinion. Unless you have specific nursing tops too

I tried before with a normal bra, a friend told me sports bras were good. But they didn't work for me. Are there any other types that work?

You can convert a normal wired bra using kits from eBay. It's really easy, and means both boobs point in the same direction

I used these second time around and they were fab. I don't think I paid £12 each tho so shop around..

They were really comfortable and I wore them in bed too. I think I got them from figleaves.
I had a great one from hotmilk too but it was £30 plus.

Im not sure why but I was told to stay away from wired bras, just saying, it might be worth looking in to.

After the first few weeks when the engorgement has stopped, you're fine to wear a well fitting wired bra. Just make sure the wires don't sit on breast tissue and that there's room for you to expand a little in between feeds.

I'm a J cup. I checked everywhere that this was true as I couldn't go on with the soft cups any longer. The conversion kits are genuinely dead easy and a great solution.

I only ever wear those strapless things and I'm a 34DD (actually, probably a lot larger now I'm breastfeeding). They suit me fine, though everyone tells me I'm mad and I'll pay for it later when my boobs are round my waist. I just can't stand feeling restricted and uncomfortable in bras though.
