I am collecting milk each time i feed but, will there be too much foremilk and not enough hindmilk to put in a bottle for her?

Ds1 was ff,ds2 bf till toddlerhood and dd1 was fed until 20 months.Have never been able to express(don't know why) and am currently bf dd2.Have never given my bf babies a bottle but would like to have a break just now and again.

If she refuses the bottle, how and what exactly do i cup feed?

thanks for any advice

Yep, there may be more foremilk than there would be if the baby was getting it direct, but here's the good news: it doesn't matter

Healthy babies can cope just fine with a bottle of ebm that's a different 'mix' than they're used to.

Any minor nutrient deficit will be made up over the next direct breastfeeds

another to second tiktoc, I gave joey EBM like this form collection - fair enough it wasn't often - perhaps once/twice a week max so I could have a rest, and he was putting on 10oz ave p/w so def no probs there.

Thanks tiktok and munz

Planning to keep collecting and try her with a bottle in 2/3 weeks.Do you think i'm leaving it a bit late to try her?

Just didn't want her to be starving or ill on too much foremilk and not enough of the other lol.

thanks again
