What's the best way to "stock pile" my breast milk?

My DS is 4 weeks old and breast fed. DP is giving him expressed milk from a bottle to allow me more than 2.5 hrs continuous sleep. DS takes around 100ml from the bottle. I generally fill a 50ml bottle when I express before the flow stops. I worry about expressing and then not having milk if he wants a feed straight after. What's the best way to insure I always have some milk in the fridge?

Breast milk will only keep for a few days in the fridge so your best bet might be to freeze using storage bags like these.

You can buy storage pots that will hold 2oz of milk each. I have these

You can store fresh milk in the fridge for 48 hours. Milk can be frozen for up to 3 months, use within 24 hours of defrosting smile

fresh milk can be stored up to 8 days in the fridge according to the link I posted

and between 6-12 months in the freezer

And you always have milk when a baby is suckling, its produced continually. Doing lots of expressing will increase your supply, not use your milk up.

It will get a lot easier in the next few Weeks too.

I work in a neonatal special care baby unit, this is what we do there.
