Can a baby go off milk???

Our almost 6 months old has been exclusively ff for the last 3 months and has started weaning at lunch time. He is also teething and 2 little teeth has appeared but still bothering him.
For the last six weeks his feeding has got progressively worse. Started with not wanting to finish his bottle (around 7oz every 3.5-4 hours).He would leave an ounce then 2 and now he will only feed without struggling the last feed before bed (7pm) and his dream feed (around -6oz anyway).
Even his first feed he will drink the first 2oz and starting to refuse to drink more. I thought it was wind and try to wind him, and most of the times it is not. From then on it might take an hour later for him to take another ounce. It has affected his sleep during the day , but otherwise he is a happy child. His nappies are the same (not constipated ), not overly sick etc.
I tried the next size teat, feeding from a nubby, from a cup but to no avail.
The health visitor said he is bored (?) and to me to insist to feed him.
At lunch time he will not want to drink his milk but happily eat his lunch.
Please could you help me??? I never had this problem with my other DCs (very greedy creatures!!)

My eldest stopped drinking milk completely at 5 months - he HATED it, and only started drinking it again at about 8 ish years old!! He drank lots of squash and ate LOTS of petit filous
He is now a very healthy lad - I wouldn't worry too much.

My 8 month old started that at 4 months. The only thing that gets her to take a feed is if I distract her. It makes her concentrate on something other than the bottle and she gulps it down easier. Sometimes I even resort to showing her a cartoon on my phone!
I've been told it's reflux. She's suffered it from birth but when she got old enough to refuse a bottle, she did indeed do that! Prior to that it was typical back arching and crying etc

conors not worrying won't be easy :) but thanks for giving me hope that lo could thrive without milk.

lindsay I thought of reflux, but J never cried much before, and always seemed happy after feed.I tried distracting him but nope! No milk!:(

I know - I worried myself sick at the time. Have you tried different sorts of milk? They have very different tastes sometimes. My DS now prefers goats milk to anything else, when I was a baby I couldn't keep down/didn't like formula so my Mum fed me on watered down cows milk (couldn't bf). Just a thought ...

I thought trying another formula milk???
Do they all taste the same?
Today he fed a little bit brtter so I hope it is judt a phase...: (
