Sleeping through night/ milk supply

My 10 week old has started to sleep for a longer block (6-7 hrs) over the last few nights (may just be a temporary phase!) from 9pm to 3 or 4 am and by this time my breasts are swollen, hard and quite uncomfortable, I don't really want to wake her to feed as she is gaining weight well but am I risking losing my milk supply if she drops a night feed?
Also how would anyone advise shifting bedtime so that we get say 6 am wake up rather than 4am or shall I continue to go with the flow which I have done so far?

Hello Mirshid. Just marking my place I'm afraid- going through the same thing with DS only now (last 5 days since his jabs-13 weeks) he's dropped the 4 am too. He's now fed at 10 then goes till 6am. Great for sleeping. Bad for boobs. The first couple of nights I woke up with huge, full and uncomfortable boobs but today less so- still full but not bursting. Now I'm worried about my supply- I mix feed so I'm particularly nervous about supply which DS has been successfully increasing himself over the last few weeks.
Are you increasing day feeds to "make up" for nights? DS seems happy and has lots of wet and dirty nappies. Can't believe I still don't know how boobs work!!......and that I'm finding something to worry about with DS sleeping through. Hope someone who knows what they're doing comes along!

By this sort of age your supply will be pretty well established so I would enjoy the sleep! If you need to, hand express a little for comfort.

Forgot to say, it probably won't last! A growth spurt will come along and they will wake up again. Enjoy it while it lasts!

My DD did this around the same age. I would express before bed at times to minimise the discomfort. No issues with supply and sadly the sleeping through didn't last! She started waking again around 20 weeks

Yup, going to say much the same as the others - it's unlikely to affect your supply and enjoy it while it lasts! Would also say to go with the flow for now for things like bedtime, I didn't find either of mine developed a nice consistent bedtime until they were a couple of months older.
