Hello, my 10 month old DD is bf milk monster. feeds multiple times day and night.

i am going back to work tomorrow (9-5) and have not made any kind of preparation whatsoever. I will feed her before work and when I get back.

Are my boobs going to be ok? I can't express whilst at work.

I'm a bit worried.... Thanks xx

ha ha!!!
i was exactly the same.... i hand expressed a bit at lunch break for a week or so as boobs were rock hard and wore breast pads as leaked fair amount but it quickly settled down and managed to avoid mastitis etc!!
good luck. oh dd was also fine with no boob through the day!!

Thank you for posting feekerry! That makes me feel much better, thank you...

Did you go back to feeding normally at weekends? Or did you stick to the weekday routine?

Thanks!!!!

Hey there, I went back at 6 months, boobs a bit sore during the day for a week or so but soon settled down and I now (at 11 months) still feed normally at weekends and before and after work with no troubles.

I went back at 6 months as well. I expressed once on the first day and then never again and it settled down pretty quickly.

For the first few weeks I was rock hard around 5pm and would get pretty soaked when ds2 fed when I got home, but during the day it wasn't any worse than "firm".

Now, several months later, I don't even feel full if I go out straight from work and don't feed until the middle of the night.

I work Mon-Wed and just fed as normal on non-work days. My body seemed to learn the days of the week pretty quickly Smile

This is brilliant thank you. I was hoping I could feed as normal on non work days. Looks like it will be ok!
