Comfort milk

Does anybody have any experience with moving from comfort milk to normal stage 1 cow and gate?
At about 3 weeks we moved dd onto comfort as she seemed stressed about pooing and constipated and had bouts of colic. The colic wasn't cured but seemed to ease slightly but her constipation did seem to get better.
She's now 3 months and wondering whether to move her back onto the regular formula. Comfort is really oily and she has always had a bit of oily water come back after each feed, but more so just lately. Im just wondering now she is getting older and the colic has completely gone should I move her back or stick with it ? As far as I have grasped is that comfort milk has broken down lactose already so should I be introducing her back to the normal so that when she weans onto cows milk or stage 3 from 6 months her tummy is already used to the lactose?
Any experiences would be helpful please :)

My daughter is also on comfort milk due to colic in fact she is 16 weeks and I am weaning her it's so bad. I am keeping her on comfort milk for a while as least as since starting to wean she is getting bowel issues again not anything like before but defa change in habit. We decided to go one step at a time to get her used to the lactose again.

Well so far so good. I just did a straight swap and she seems ok. She has already been twice today compared to every other day and it was totally normal and she just seems nice and settled. I will just keep an eye on her but thanks for the replies, no colic signs or trouble winding at all yesterday and today either.
