Tips for getting baby to drink room temperature milk?

My son was breastfed for 7 months and now at 8 months and 25lbs has formula. I'm going to a festival and he is coming with me but I've never been able to get him to drink room temperature milk.

The coldest he will have it is 15 seconds in the microwave! He wont drink it at 10-14 seconds, it seems 15 is the magic number.

I'm after some ways to either encourage him to drink it or alternatively warm it up without hot water or a microwave?! Any suggestions for this impossible task most welcome, otherwise I'm going to just take powder and flasks! Thanks

If you have access to a car, there are bottle warmers that can work from a battery - it's like a sleeve you put the bottle in and then you plug it into the lighter socket (Halfords have one for about £12). Other than this, you might just have to take flasks with hot water and powder. Have a good festival!

could you take cartons and let them warm up if its sunny as they dont need to be kept in the fridge before opening.

You should be able to get a cup of hot water from a tea stall - would that help?

If I get really stuck I will just use flasks and hot water from stalls but in an ideal world he would drink the cartons as is, just thinking it would save a lot of hassle if there is lots of rain or big queues at stalls.

After posting this I put a carton in a bottle and put the bottle between my boobs for 10 minutes and he drank it. Fingers crossed it's not a one off! Thanks everyone :D

Well that's awesome angeltattoo. They look tricky to clean though and are £30 - my son is quite fussy about teats too and it took me a long time to get a teat he liked, I'm not sure he would drink form this one. Going to see if I can find some in the flesh!
