8 week old rejecting breastfeeding. Help!!

My 8 week old son is rejecting me! Have been breastfeeding him but over the last few days I've been really ill and unable to do it. I tried to express as much as I could, but to be honest it's been hard to even blink without throwing up.
I haven't really been able to eat much, and I'm probably pretty dehydrated, and I don't seem to be producing much, but what's worse is that he won't take to the boob any more. He cries and cries because he's hungry so I'm forced to give yet another bottle and I know that this is just making the problem worse.
Has anyone got any advice as to how to get the milk flowing again, and to get Small back where he belongs?!
Thanks

Try and rehydrate as much as possible and put him to the breast as much as you can to stimulate your supply. Lots of skin to skin, may be spend a couple of days in bed together just snoozing and feeding.

You do have a drop in supply after D&V but it does come back if you keep them on the boobs. Hope you feel better soon Smile

I hope you are feeling a bit better now.

Don't give up!

Make sure you have plenty of water as what has suggested. Make sure you do eat even if it's just a little and keep your little one close. If you can have skin to skin contact and have him on the breast. Try and make sure he's calm before he feeds. If he has a fairly regular pattern on how often he feeds perhaps try feeding him 15/20 minutes before he gets really hungry. That way, he wont be mad hungry and panicking and he can take his time on the breast.
