Tell me about stopping bf

My DD is 13 months and I have just stopped bfing her as she started to refuse to have it. I'm happy with this but wanted some advice.

  1. when can I go and buy some lovely new bras??? i.e. when will my breasts be back to "normal"??

  1. My period has been back for a few months and has been quite regular but for the last couple of months I've had bleeding between periods. I presume this might be related to the fact the DD has been cutting down her feeds? I stopped four days ago and I've also had some bleeding today but my period isn't due for a week. Is this normal?

  1. will I put on loads of weight now?

Thanks!

  1. I think my breasts returned to 'normal' after a week or so, once the hardness wore off. They are bigger than they were (my pre preg bras are too small), and I did continue to leak for a while (still do now if I squeeze, and its over a year since I gave up).

  1. What contraception are you using? I had something like this with a Mirena.

  1. You will put on loads of weight if you keep eating the same. However exercise is easier. It is really easy to put on weight, its up to you (and very do-able) not to.

Just condoms at the moment so it's nothing to do with that. Thanks for your other responses!

I've just stopped after 6 years being pg or bfing. No leakage, as ds was quite old and it was gradual.

I have had my montgomery's tubercles fill with ? pus? ?yogurt? Though. That's kinda interesting tbh though.

I've lost weight.
