any tips on boosting supply this time?

from my left side (joeys' fave) I can express 4oz easily no worried in about 10 mins or less, from my right side which has had 2 infections I struggle to get 2oz.

DH has commented that my boobs are looking slightly lopsided - (I asked him if they were first)

anyhow after approx 10 mins on the right side the boob seems to stop spurting as it were and drops come out where as on the other side it's continually spurting, can u boost just one side? i've already gone up from a 34 D to a 38E (need to be redone again as well) so don't want them bigger just more supply. Joey's been getting v anti on the right side once the spurting stops. and my boob feels dry/sore when he suckles.

Could you try offering that side first at every feed to build up it's supply by increasing stimulation. The amount that you can express from that side might not compare to what DS can get out. I had exactly the same problem from the side that I got cracked nipples / mastitis on. I used to co-sleep and feed from this side at night. Then the other side seemed to have less supply - you can't win!

Had exactly same with my ds at about 4 months or so. Usual advice though just put him to the less productive boob more and more and pumped about an hour after the feed. this did really increase my supply.

thanks guys, i've been pumping as well in the mornings but still only getting about 2oz at most (althou this is about 1 hr after Joey's fed) guess we'll jsut have to keep trying - it's just so much easier to offer the good side and have him settled. (althou not better!)
