Bottle feeding- how to drop a night feed?

Hi there! Well my DD2 is now 13 weeks old and doing great. I'm not complaining- there may be no solution and I just have to wait- but she still wakes every 3 hours on the dot in the night for milk? She has 4 oz bottles. I've tried 5 oz to get more in her but she won't drink anymore.
Just wondered if anyone had any advice?

I suspect you will just have to wait this one out Smile

Do you have a bath before bedtime ( DD - not you !) . We feed , bath pjs then feed again in short space of time ( so feed about half 5 , bath , feed again about half 6 ) then last feed 8 pm before bedtime. My DD does eat quite alot ( 6-8oz at 9 weeks) but this may encourage your DD to eat a bit more before bedtime?? Last night she slept half 8 till 5am . Or usually will only wake for one feed in night .
Maybe worth a try but you may also just have to wait as Jilted said . Good luck x

Agree with boop on this - we do the same, I try and make sure DS gets all his calories in the daytime.

Also are you 100% sure your DD wants a feed? Sometimes DS wakes up and if I reswaddle him quietly he'll go back to sleep.

How does she feed in the daytime?

Current work DC is 14 weeks today and is on 6-7ozs at 8,12,4,8 roughly as if she asks she is fed earlier tho is woken to feed for these times and she dropped her middle of the night (4am) feed at 5 weeks and the dream feed (23:50) 2 weeks ago. 2 weeks ago she was on 5oz feeds so lots can change quickly in a short space of time.
