points, as far as I am aware, BPA only really leaches into milk if it you heated milk in the container to high temperatures. Which you're not going to do with the breast pump. Either way, if you feel better about it, you can certainly get new parts for the Medela Swing without having to buy a the whole pump.
Any advice welcome, I had my first dc in 2007 and I still have my medela swing and an avent manual pump from then. I am now expecting dc2 shortly and I am going to buy all new BPA free bottles, etc but should I also replace my pumps for BPA free ones? I will only prob buy a manual one as too much to buy another electric one.
Also is it safe to use a microwave steriliser if I am using the BPA free bottles? Should I get an electric steamer if I am going to still use my old pumps? I am planning to breastfeed again so it's only really for expressed milk and maybe the odd bottle feed.
