Many of you are probably aware that the Maternity Alliance recently had to
wind up because of lack of funds. This will be a blow to many of us who have
contacted them over the years for their skilled and specialist information.
Another not-for-profit organisation needs help or it faces going the
same way. Baby Milk Action has lost a huge chunk of its income from grants
in the last couple of years and is having to rely more and more on donations
and the membership subscriptions it receives.
Many of us in the rely on Baby Milk Action for information about
specific issues like the WHO International Code and the Nestle Boycott. They
need our help. If you are a member please remember to renew your membership
- it is easy to
think that because it is so cheap they won't miss yours! BUT THEY WILL.
If you are not then do consider joining or donating. Every penny really
does count so anything you can spare would make all the difference.
