I feel sorry for your daughter misdee, when you whip that picture out when she's 18!!

LOL ds did this from when he was about 1 1/2, but he usually uses his belly button

Was round a friend's house the other day and her daughter was breastfeeding a plastic piglet which made me laugh.

Lottie has been doing a lot of this too. The struggle to hold baby / teddy, lift her top with the other hand and place object on her 'boob' is so funny.

DD1 (aged 5) does this with dolls, teddies etc. No photos yet, but even so, I don't see that they would be anything to feel embarrassed about, even at 18. Certainly no more embarrassing than other childhood photos. I think it's quite sweet.
Oh, and she sometimes gives me dolls or teddies to feed, but fortunately for me, they can do a whole feed in about 5 seconds, I find..

Ds also pretends to drink from "Daddy's milkies" and offers me a go on his sometimes

DD doesn't go for dolls, but she is always doing role play with plastic animals, often about mummies and babies. Plenty of times the baby is having "milkies" from mum.

I feel like so much kids' media/experiences divorces them from the realities of the natural world... they see lambs being bottlefed, they watch videos about zebras being friends with lions, we parents dance around not telling them where babies really come from. It's nice to know that DD has absorbed some real biology!!

Agree it will always be sweet to us - as will baby having bath photos etc., but I think it would take a pretty strong 18 y.o. to see the sweet side - just remembering our family albums coming out for boyfriends - how embarassing!

DD used to do this whilst shopping, she would sit in the trolley shoving baby annabel up her jumper because she was "hungry"
Got some very odd looks

My nearly 4yo DD still does this at times too. Her babies are mixed fed, according to how busy DD is! LOL!
