Infant feeding

changing from formula to cows milk

I should remember this from my first child but can't...

when changing from formula to cows milk is it okay to just change one day, ie stop the formula and replace it with cows milk for all feeds (only 2 now anyway)?

Or should it be done gradually, maybe making up the feed half and half etc?

with ds ( now 3) what i did was 1st feed of day half cows milk and half water and the same with the next feed, next day 3/4 milk and 1/4 water and the same with the next feed and then on the 3rd day full caows milk. you might also want to make the 1st feed of cows milk you give dc the morning/daytime one in case dc doesnt take to it.
dont this make sense? i hope so

M is 13 mths and trying to whittle down formula and replace with some cows milk in bottle and use soya milk for rest of her diet. She doesn't seem to like the cows milk. Is it ok to mix cows and formula in the same bottle? I thought I might gradually decrease number of oz of formula and replace with cows milk.
