Need reassurance...it IS an abscess

Got told last night that I have got a abscess but small enough at the mo to treat with abs. Im really worried tho cos this is wot happened last time and I had to have a whole op There is NO WAY Im giving up breastfeeding but I dont know wot Ill do if it gets as far as another op cos I only feed from one breast now as the breast that had the abscess last time got quite badly damaged and when I tried feeding from it again it just caused alot more problems so I just carried on with the one boob and now that one is poorly!Im still feeding from it now so Im hoping that the abs will work this time and I wont need an op!Any suggestions on wot I can do?All I can think of is if it does come to the point of a op Ill have to use other boob again but theres not really much milk there now and last time I tried ds wasnt impressed!Going round in circles!

Sorry to hear this mm. Maybe you could call the nct or la leche lines - a bfc might know more about this
