HELP! May have another breast abscess developing feeling very sad

Hi all!
I had a breast abscess when ds was 3 weeks and had various other problems up until about 2 months ago when things started to go right! Yesterday I started getting some pain in my left nipple (never had any probs with left breast b4) first I thought maybe DS had caught me with his teeth. The pain started to get worse then I found a small lump so I thought ok Ill massage and do all the usual stuff! When massaging pus (sorry yuk) came out my nipple but only on one side, if that makes sense, the rest was normal milk! Obviously pus was coming out of infected side of boob and not the other. Anyway I have been to c doc who said she can feel a lump about 3cm. Is this big? I dont know cos compared to the lump when I had an abscess that is small but then the abscess started as a small lump and developed really quickly!Sorry Im panicking!Wot should I do?Doc said c how it is tomorrow but I did that last time and had full on sugery!Waiting for hv to call back and b4 anyone says anything she is the breastfeeding bible!Doc seemed very shocked when I said I was still feeding cos for some reason she asked if ds had teeth and when I said 7 she looked at me like I was mad!Right Im goin off track!!!!Im just feel very sad and nervous so any help or advice would be very gratefully recieved

Did the GP give you antibiotics or anything?

Yep anitibiotics and diclofenac
