Four thought-provoking post-apocalyptic novels to choose from this month, two by women, two by men.
You can find out more about the books here and then vote for your choice.
The poll closes on Tues 26 May.
And if you're new to Book Club, find out how to join in.
And quick reminder that May's book club discussion is Tues 26 May at 8pm. Hope you can join us.

oooh I will definitely join in this one. Please not the Road though, can't bear to read it again!
Have voted, am rubbish at remembering when the discussions are though and keep missing them. Didn't manage to finish The Road but that was just after DD was born; hopefully I'm stronger now!

Oooh, much more excited about this month. Only one I don't like the sound of is The Road.
I LOVE this sort of fiction. In fact I was allowed to write a little dissertation on dystopian futures for my English A LEVEL. I've read the Road and Oryx and Crake or whatever it is called. Both MARVELLOUS.

looking forward to joining the book club and changing my choice of books can only read so many maeve binchy (grin)
I like this sort of fiction too.
Enjoyed Will Self's 'Book of Dave'
and have just added Doris Lessing's 'Mara and Dann' to my wish-list after reading a recent thread about it here.
I've read (and loved) Oryx and Crake.
I hope it IS 'The Road' because of the posts saying 'no, not The Road' .....made me think 'ooo what's The Road like then'?
I like this fiction too - and it means we can spend at least half the chat trying out our own dystopian predictions of 2050.
Looks like Margaret Atwood is firmly in the lead, will let you know final result tomorrow morning.
