piebald are you referring to the MN bookclub?
If so, at the end of the thread about Crimson China details September's book which is David Mitchell's The Thousand Autumns of Jacob Zoot and the date when it is to be discussed. There are some signed copies being given away too!!

Hello,
Yes, we start threads in this topic about our book of the month (often with a giveaway), so people have almost a month to read it and then can come and chat about the book with the author.
We put details on the homepage and sticky the thread to remind everyone beforehand.
Plus, our book club newsletter has all the lowdown on what's coming up and other book giveaways.
And gailforce1 is right
, our next book is The Thousand Autumns of Jacob de Zoet, in September. We'll start a thread with the giveaway a bit nearer the time.
Generally, we don't do a book in August or December, but all the other months, we do. Hope you can join the discussions. Everyone welcome - the more the merrier
