I don't have a teenage child but I could persuade my just turned 20 colleague to read it.

my older son and my younger son do not get on at all, the older one has aspergers and the younger one has adhd and they are six years apart. the younger one winds his older brother up constantly, it is a nightmare.

I have just read a lengthy review from the guardian on this book after seeing this post, the book certainly looks interesting, it sounds like it has a complicated plot with a lot of suspense, and a lot of 'real life' dilemmas and situations a lot of children find themselves in, and would certainly be a book I would love to read, as I feel we shelter our children from the outside world and the situations some families find themselves in there is a Cadence in every child's class, and she needs to be understood and heard.

I read this book many months ago and I thought it was very enjoyable.
The writing style is pretty different to many other books out there but incredibly compelling. It's such a interesting read full of mystery, drama and suspicion that will leave you questioning everything that is happening in the story smile

I love gripping stories and the plot looks most intriguing

My daughter told me to read this book as she said it was a fantastic read... TBH I wasn't really that interested, however It was very dramatic, interesting and hard to put down. Looking forward to more from this writer... smile

It sounds that it should be good read .

I loved this book, the twist and the pacing we really fantastic and gripping.
Candace is an unreliable narrator but you really want to work with her to discover what's going on.

They've grown up in this aura of privilege, and it seems that is this she is trying to come to terms with this, growing up and her own issues.
