Taking a look at when the cat's away

FiveHoursSleep - it looks like you had a good holiday, perhaps Zagreb is underrated as a place to visit. I would certainly like to go there.

I'm all a bit new to this but have just started a new blog and website dedicated to giving mums and dads to be inspiration for their babymoon. It's still a work in progress but here is my blog introducing babymoons. www.youmeandthebump.com/babymoon-is-it-for-you

I would love to hear from anyone who has been on a babymoon, where they went etc.

thank you! x

A new royal baby is on the way- and this time it's a baby swede!

What is it about green food that kids hate so much? This comic is my son's solution to it.

@youmeandthebump My wife and I went to see Pearl Jam in Manchester (bit of a drive for us, so a night in a hotel). Twas superb, even tho' the Mrs was knackered/sicky/achey/mega-bumpified!

@microdictator sounds fab! I'm really wanting to get some content on my site about going to concerts/festivals when you're pregnant - apparently quite a few babies have been born at Glastonbury! Would love to know if your baby was born with a love of Pearl Jam??

Your child is your child. Not your best friend. Not your worst enemy.

I have another one posted, I'm quite pleased with this, I thought it was very interesting:

Sibling

sadeyedlady I agree completely with your post. I get fed up with all of those things on FB too.

@youmeandthebump - he likes loud and fast music. But then, most small boys do! We like to think that it was down to Pearl Jam but I doubt there's much correlation.

My first strongwoman competition. Just an average mum lifting heavy things.

Oh hell it was school photo day this week

Thanks alexpolis! In some ways I love the cryptic facebook posts - I always hope the people they're slagging off will pop up and say 'Do you mean me?' grin

newpencilcase I flipping love your post! Found myself nodding and saying 'oh yes, yes, oh god, YES. But I thought that was just me!'

New to Mumsnet and relatively new to blogging. My latest post in our battle to get our son a diagnosis alongside a fab family holiday!

Are All Mums Bossy? Is it part of the job description?

A lovely idea: a book-spine poem!

If anyone else wants to do one, I would be happy to link to it!

After a long absence I'm back with a post about YA steampunk and gothic novels. It's been an eye-opener for me!

AMillionMilesOfFun Fri 13-Sep-13 18:35:52

Bit of a break for me too - back with some autumnal crafts as the boy and I kill some time between school settling sessions. We just can't enough of those googly eyes.

Each Friday I blog about the hilarious things my nrly 3yr old says. Here's no.19 - the one where Daddy lets all the 'heats' out expressionandconfession.wordpress.com/2013/09/13/forget-me-not-friday-19/

Lawyer, politician and seventeenth Prime Minister of Canada, John Napier Wyndham Turner once said, “Substantive and procedural law benefits and protects landlords over tenants, creditors over debtors, lenders over borrowers...” and this is my problem.
