Hello and welcome to another brilliant week.

Two posts from me this week - Charity Shop Bargains I Have Found and my Ideal Bookshelf.

A wintery Silent Sunday from me.

Loving your posts Busty! That photo of Stephen King is v.funny. Have you read his book, 'On Writing'? It's great.

Haven't done a new post yet, but did (finally) change theme. I was nervous - I was sure I would screw up and lose all content.
Durh, I didn't though and all is good in the wordpress world.

It's a Christmas theme! Woop

Good morning,

Generations of fathers are to blame for my clumsy attempts to engage in child initiated play. Oh and sharks are not caterpillars - I think that should be clarified. Happy Sunday.

andapartridgeinapeartree Sun 09-Dec-12 10:34:32

Good morning fellow bloggers.

I wrote this one last night in celebration of the Christmas Print-out as an uber useful tool to keep the babes busy (and happy) whilst nursing pinchy hangovers. Tres in-the-season...happy hangovers all x

Thisisaeuphemism it's a BRILLIANT photo isn't it? I think it must have been during his heavy cocaine and hard liquor years. It is the only thing which would explain that expression. I love Stephen King, and On Writing was my bible for a while - I carried it everywhere.

Phwup-phew (Wolf Whistle) to your Christmas-face blog!

Playing polo? Am I in the right forum?!

Had a totally insane week journeying into the unknown and playing polo

A tired and possibly rambly post about why I missed the Bristol MN meet-up

BustyDeLaGhetto Sun 09-Dec-12 22:50:05

Wow, yassusarah that post was remarkable! I just tried to comment on your blog but it wouldn't let me so I've c+p'd it here;

"I had a similar experience in Malaysia - we were pulled over by armed police who were very intimidating, with huge guns strapped across their chests. They demanded our passports and seemed to pay very close attention to mine. We were in a taxi on a coast road, miles from anywhere and I was getting more and more uncomfortable. The two policemen conferred and then one of them lent towards me and said,
"Happy Birthday for yesterday."

He'd been working out my date of birth. I was so relieved I nearly laughed myself into the next birthday."

Glitter! Pine Cones! Christmassy! What's not to love?!

Thought I was losing interest and/or my mojo over the weekend but it's back with a vengeance and I am getting all excited about projects again. I even let my Zeds (the children) make pink glittery messes on the kitchen table just before dinner.

I wrote about meeting, and being inspired by Mary Robinson, former Irish President and Human Rights activist.

With the holidays coming up, what better time to make some bread with your youngsters with the original playdough - which you can go on and bake and eat after they've finished playing with it?

It's been a while, busy busy busy, but I've blogged. I was spurred into writing because of Homerton hospital's decision to reduce the size of its home birth team, including removing one midwife against her will. It has been a fantastic resource and Angela Barry, the removed midwife, was amazing and instilled such confidence into women. 9% of the women that went via the homebirth team had a caesarean section compared the to 26% rate at the hospital. To say I'm miffed for my ladies is an understatment.

Anyhoo... The Illusion of Choice

Do you have a child who won't get rid of a favourite item of clothing even though it is too small? In 'The Best Jumper' Spindle is sad when he grows out of his best jumper but luckily Grandma can help him.

A lovely bedtime story.
