Greed, a twin pregnancy and C-section have given me a pouch that only a marsupial could love.

Useful for storing wet wipes and shopping lists, it is rather unsightly in an unforgiving clingy dress.

I need a cover up.

I have been tempted by the Autumn Colours again. But does photography, a 7 year old and trees mix. Find out in Stourhead Revisited.

Good morning everyone! I have been enjoying all of your blog posts. Recipe I laughed so much over your description of the kitten walking on the cake and your high maintenance guest refusing to eat it!

Luce808 Mon 05-Nov-12 09:40:43

Have had a look at your blog Recipe and I LOVE the roasted cauliflower recipe. I will definitely be cooking that!

Still in newborn shellshock mode so neglecting my blog at the moment.

MmeG I love when you recommend books, they are always excellent. Though I have yet to try Georgette Heyer (not relevant to your latest post I know).

Shall be adding all ten to my new kindle.

Last week I blogged about obsessive fangirls, and that led me to think about Jimmy Saville.

Will the Saville scandal stop our teens hero-worshipping stars?

MmeLindor Tue 06-Nov-12 20:37:12

First put two square brackets [[ then without a space your link www.saltandcaramel.com then a space, then write what you are linking to (this is my blog) then close with 2 square brackets]] without a space before them.

[[www.saltandcaramel.com this is my blog] ]

(I put a space between the last two brackets so you could see what I mean)

this is my blog

And preview message to see if it has worked. And don't worry if it hasn't. Once you get the hang of it, you will be fine.

I bet I cock up this link now - it is a blog post to enter the MoneySupermarket competition, but one I have been meaning to write for a while.

This morning I was able to zip up a zip which wouldn’t normally go all day way up. It is quite surprising, I thought I had eaten enough cake lately, but apparently there is room for some more. Plan more cake, definitely one of the better ways to start the day…

So here is an exciting recipe for a tart that doesn't require a tart tin, or blind baking, brilliant!

Tart Without a Tart Tin

Hello, nice to be here!

Today I've featured a friend's story all about having to lose several stone in order to help her PCOS, and to start a family. We'll be having regular catch ups to help with meal plans, encouragement and so on 'Weight Loss Wednesdays'.

Weight Loss Wednesdays

I also have a competition to win a new children's book, ideal for Christmas for children aged 3-7.

I've written about the quest for 'our song'

Do you have an 'our song'? Is it the same as mine/ours? That would be spooky. And wrong, I think.

Thanks Mme Lindor, I've never managed to link properly before.

CraftsonSea Wed 07-Nov-12 13:31:15

I've got a competition over on my blog to win a handmade bracelet Handmade by me I hasten to add so please be nice!!

MmeLindor Wed 07-Nov-12 19:46:08

Euphie
(do you mind if I call you that) I tell you what is spooky - I was thinking about 'our song' today and considering doing a blog post on it.

Hi guys - I've not left a link here for ages so I hope you don't mind me dipping in like this. My boy has just joined the Territorial Army. I'm a bit emotional about it all although that probably doesn't come over in the post very well.

I've written about my shock (although perhaps naivety is a better word!) at finding out pregnant models are actually models with fake bumps!

Good Manners And Saying Thank You

I've been eavesdropping on my girls in the car.

Aliceemma I can't comment on your blog as you need to turn the URL/Name option on, but my son did this and we came through the other side after a couple of months.
He howled and cried as I dropped him off, was fine all day then hid when it was time to come home.
Enlist the help of her carer to try and distract her and take her to do something special, and make sure you have some sort of treat for her at the end of the day. They usually are quite happy to get into the car if they have some stickers or something.
Good luck.
My son has been great for a year or two, and now he's all teary at the school gate again. sad

Egusta glad it made you laugh - that story still makes me laugh, and Luce808 yes roasting cauliflower is the way forward, I'm convinced. Now, while you're all living it up at Blogfest, I get to stay home and run the PTA bonfire night, so last night, instead of getting ready to head up to London, I blogged the pumpkin cheesecake I made last week.

Thanks for commenting on my blog Recipe! Your kitten story reminded me of the time when DH was making his blue cheese dip- which is melted stilton and apple cider and he dropped the stilton on the floor, just as a high maintenance guest of our own walked in to catch him picking it up and rinsing it off under the tap blush The look of utter distaste on her face..... and she avoided the dip and whispered to her husband to avoid it too. ..... i was so embarrassed!

[disclaimer- usually we would NEVER just rinse it off, but it was the only stilton we had and the guests had arrived early and we were panicking.....]

Those guests never accepted an invitation from us again!

I've just done a post about some of the Jewellery I have made recently.

And my sister made me a necklace using washers and a ribbon that I posted about on thursday.

FiveHoursSleep - big thanks for response, really helps to know it's not us. We've just started big distraction hand over activity for when she gets there so this will hopefully help - last week we managed to get out of nursery and half way down road before she went into meltdown and tried to run back to nursery! Did you get any help from anyone about why they go through cycles of it - am dreading it carrying on into school etc.

Am being dim about the blog comments thing - I think it's switched on? Is there something else I need to do?
