Not blogged for a bit, but last night's dinner party prompted me to get back to it! Dressed to Impress

I've posted a slow cooker recipe because it's Sunday, which mean I'm way too lazy to cook properly.
Another Silent Sunday from me. A view from the top at mumsnetblogfest yesterday!
This wasn't really the first post I thought I'd be writing after Mumsnet Blogfest but this is mainly in response to the Liz Jones article.

Do you suffer from insomnia? Please read my story, perhaps I can help or it might be just nice to know you're not the only one out there

While I realise the presenters' dresses leave little space for poppy pinning, I find the prude in me tutting when I see the vivid red flower - which adorned the bloody battlefields of Flanders - bouncing around on top of ridiculously enhanced fun bags.

here's what I learned about me (of all people!) from yesterday's Blogfest 2012
For Remembrance Day, a tribute to my grandmothers and great-great-aunt, all deeply affected by the Great War:

My rather epically long post about speaking at Blogfest. :D
Really looking forward to reading everyone else's - hurry up and write them! ;)

When a newly pregnant friend complained about morning sickness I naively gave her my advice which was less than useless as what she was going through was not common or garden morning sickness but hyperemesis gravidarum (HG) which is totally debilitating and dangerous if untreated.
I've been prompted to start a blog by all the chat about blogfest, I'm planning to write more about working in the Operating Theatre and how to maintain my skill level whilst on maternity leave. Any comments from more seasoned writers are very welcome. odpingreenscrubs.blogspot.co.uk/

I'm still doing NaBloPoMo (shoot me now)
So day 12 has been brought to you by the letter U
I am posting everyday and mostly enjoying it but I won't put every post up here - or else the thread will be full of me
Two for me today.
The first is about man's biggest test; the joy of a semen analysis and this afternoon it's the first in my week long quest to raise awareness of World Prematurity Day with a story of a baby born at just 25+1 gestation
Off to read the others posted here.

Geez I have been a bit slack for a while on the blogging front but have a renewed resolution to stick with it, even just to keep myself sane. Here's my latest offering on the joys of crafting when you are not a natural and hindered by preggy hormones
