I thought it was just for discussing blogging rather than promoting blogs themselves. Maybe I'm wrong. MNHQ?

I'm a newbie and this is my first post, so hope I'm not breaking rules, but I also thought we could discuss blogging as long as we are mumsnet bloggers.

I'm a stay at home full-time mum and chauffeur. I also have my own blog where I indulge my obsessive hobby - writing (women's fiction). It has extracts from my (sadly unpublished) novels, some of my short stories and lots of photos from around Northern Ireland - mainly showing places that inspire or appear in my writing. www.lesaclarke.blogspot.co.uk/

I'm a stay at home mum to two boys, I'll join in... Smile
I'm actually ranting about how I'm feeling invisible as a stay at home mum on the blog today!

Pookamoo, the rules aren't v clear and in fact we are having a discussion with MNHQ on a thread about to try and figure out what this section is meant to be about. If you are part of the Mn blog network you can promote your blog but I think the key is to do it in an interactive sharing way, so on a thread like this is fine. Starting a new thread for each new blog post you make is less fine.

ElenMumsnetBloggers · 17/09/2012 14:29

Hi Pookamo and Dillytante,
It's fine to plug your blogs on Bloggers Talk Wink and we'd love it if you stayed for discussion, too

janglitz · 01/10/2012 19:02

I have added a new thread blog followers may if we link via email we won't be spamming xxx

2under2blog · 03/10/2012 12:10

Hi Lesa, found you on Twitter and given you a follow. Lovely looking blog! Your manuscript sounds exciting, I will enjoy tracking its progress via your blog.

I'm at www.2under2.co.uk posting up articles about how I cope with a baby and a toddler. Would love anyone's thoughts xx

awritingmum · 08/10/2012 21:17

Thanks 2under2. Smile I'm 52,000 words into the new MS now and there are moments when it's taking me by surprise. Working on getting through the transition from the middle section to the end section.

I like your blog and enjoyed your poem - although my two are primary school age now I still think there are days when I could do with having it printed off and reading it!

I'm rubbish at poetry but my kids are really into it at the moment - they read quite a bit of it at school and have things like some of Roald Dahl's poems at home. The Spike Milligan Ning Nang Nong is their current favourite, so I've been looking at some poetry collections for kids.

I will follow your blogs :-) I am a stay at home mum to three children aged 5,3 and 6 months, blogging about the activities we do together at home:
