Dear all,

I am so happy to have found this forum! I lauched my blog, Mums Write! (www.joannanorland.blogspot.co.uk) two months ago, and have been learning the ropes on my own, so I'm looking forward to sharing news and views with some sister bloggers. I've already gotten helpful ideas by reading some of the threads, so thanks to the community for your generosity and advice. As a writer, writing instructor, and mother of 2, I have launched my blog to encourage parents (and others) to write for and about the children in their lives. In connection with my blog, I am offering writing workshops in the Sevenoaks, Kent area, and hope ultimately to offer an e-book and e-courses on this topic. I would very much appreciate feedback and constructive criticism, as it's early days for Mums Write!, as well as to hear from bloggers writing on similar themes. Have a great day--Jo

Hi Jo,
I'm very new to blogging too and I've got a huge interest in writing. At the moment my blog mostly concentrates on my life as a stay at home mum but I'm planning to blog more about writing as I actually produce some. I'm now following you on twitter :)
