Does anyone have any interesting views or experiences of dating Toy Boys?

I blogged about it yesterday at The Secret Life of a Divorcee, and want to know what people think...

How are we defining 'toy boys'? :)

My husband is eight years younger than me - I like to refer to myself as a cougar sometimes as it sounds a lot more glamorous than 'housewife'. I ought to have put it as my occupation on the children's' birth certificates actually - that would have confused future generations researching their family tree no end.

Hahaha!!!! Well, I have to bat your question back out there. I don't know at what point the age difference makes someone a Toy Boy. I've never gone out with anyone younger than me before. But when you see older men going for the younger model, to boost their ego, I can see a good reason for women to do the same. Why compete for some old git with ego issues, when some younger man thinks we're still hot?!

My first boyfriend was six years older than me and so horrible in every way that I think he ruined men my own age or older for me forever as I've only gone out with younger men ever since!

Men my own age appeal to me even less these days! Mind you, most of them are married anyway so even if I did happen to become single they wouldn't appear on my radar anyhow!

I say go for it. I think it boosts your confidence and makes you feel sexy again. Nothing wrong with that. I let us know how it goes. The good luck. Xx
