yeah early baby! She's was born 26th aug. birth was ok actually, no complications except the hosp sent me home at 7am and i had her at 9!

i'm so happy i can't believe shes mine. i keep waking up forgetting then getting really excited when i remember she's here! like i said, lack of sleep lol

just a quick question, she has been sleeping/waking every 3 hours, but has is staying awake longer and sleeping less now, is this normal?

Completely normal!! (well was for us anyway!) She is just becoming more "alert" I would imagine and from my experience all babies sleep alot more at the beginning after the big trauma of being born (tis hard work smile

Yes they become more alert - as if they are getting over the shock of it all smile If you are BFing it may also have something to do with the change from colostrum to milk at about day 3. I hope she is doing well smile
