Is started 4 weeks ago, feeling a bit annoyed this morning as haven't lost despite sticking to it 100%. So far I have lost 6, lost 2, STS, lost 2 and STS

Hi Hilde, well done for starting WW! I started WW online last Monday. Ive lost 2lbs this week, so not as much as I hoped but I've had a mad weekend where I didn't really stick to it.

Have you planned out what you are eating today? Planning is definitely key. Good luck smile

Yes I lost 3 stone using fitness pal a d now I want to lose another 1 and a 1/2 with WW. Thanks. Hopefully I lose this week although I have 2 dinners to go to hmm

I am on 28 points a day. How many are you on?

It does help me keep at it. Sometimes its easy to forget how far you have come because i dont go round saying it every day.
Plus, if i can do it then anyone can. I remember my first week on ww thinking it was all gobble-de-gook and there was no way i was going to manage to lose weight and keep at it. But, here i am plodding along and still losing thanks to ww.

I signed up to ww online last week, stuck to it for a week and lost 2lb. But I've stopped again and I don't know why! I felt so much better when I was doing it. I'm 5'9 and nearly 15st, so 3.5 stone is my target. Seems like the impossible! Anyone fancy doing a bit of mutual hand holding & encouragement?

I've been doing it for over 2 years now, started out at about 15.5 stone, now just under 12 so I can vouch for the fact that it works if you stick to it. I have fallen off the wagon loads of times but once I'd lost a decent amount it was enough incentive to make me go back to it even if I'd had a crap few weeks. I haven't lost as fast as I'd have liked but that's totally down to me and I'm hoping as it'll mean I keep it off once I get to goal (2 more stone to go).

If you need any WW advice I'm very happy to help, ProPoints can be confusing but it's pretty straightforward once you get the hang of it.

Yes I do most weeks, it does sound like a lot but it's surprising how either a particularly heavy weekend (alcohol is not good on PP!) or just going over a few points every day uses it up.

That said I have still had good losses on weeks where I've used all my extra points and to be honest, I'm not sure I would have stuck at it without them, I need my treats!

They also allow you to be flexible if you are caught unexpectedly in a situation where you want to have something extra or where nothing sensible is available. Just be careful that you don't think of them as too much of a safety net and underestimate how many you are using. You have to track them religiously or it won't work - as I have found out to my cost!

My other tip is to try and do some kind of exercise - no-one was more lazy and unfit than me when I started this but I now run (well sort of jog/sprint/walk/fall over in a heap) a couple of times a week and at times when I've over-indulged it has meant I've still lost - I think you have to attack from all sides with this if you possibly can!

Hi there, joined ww online a week and 2 days ago! I am a total beached whale and have 39 points a day to use not including my extra points! I am really trying to stay below 30 points a day, which so far seems really easy ? ( is this normal) but slightly worried cos I am eating a ginormous amount of fruit? I am 39, 5"9 and weigh about 18 stone! Not going to weigh myself until I can feel my clothes really loosening and I can see a change in my face , fingers crossed it works out!! Never done WW before !

I'm going to join online as soon as I've found -- an industrial sized scale-- somewhere to weigh myself.

I did really well on slimming world in feb/march but then had a bit of a meltdown as I couldn't face eating another bit of fruit! Safe to say I've gained back everything I lost + more as is usually the way

I did ww but got fed up paying and found their new propoints system a bit rubbish. My fitness pal is a better slimming app and is free.

For those interested I've just seen a groupon offer of 3 months half price for ww online with no sign up fee. It's around 18 quid. Tho might try that my fitness pal, free is always better grin

Hello everyone,

I'm so pissed off with myself, I really need some help/hand holding

I am 5ft 2 and weighed myself this morning at 13st 6.5lb sad

I had my baby 5 months ago and I know I shouldn't rush these things but Ive never been so heavy. I weighed in at 11st 8lb just before I found out I was pregnant and even that is heavy for my height.

I'm annoyed with myself as I was doing well I got my self back down to 12st 12lb but then I have gone off the rails. With sleep deprived nights etc i have just been comfort eating or basically replacing my lunch with biscuits.

I need to get to grips with it before I gain more sad

hi,
i am a defecter. I have been following Slimming World since June and lost and regained the same stone twice!!!!! I just think the vast amount off free foods on itndoesnt compute with my brain and i fall off the wagon too easily. tomorrow Morning im going to my first everbweight watchers meeting it is def more convenient for me time wise. id like to join you ladies. i'm 5'5.5" and i weight 14st. 2 lbs thats a pound heavier than i was in June. its safe to say slimming world aint working. id like to loose 4 stone, but i need to change for life not just till i shift the weight. if i can support you guys anyway i can. will. :-)

Hi Everybody, I am also on WW and have always struggled with my weight but piled it on when I had my baby, embarrassingly nearly 3 now! I lost 3 stone on lighter life from 14 weeks on just shakes etc last year and ended up in hospital twice. It messed up my stomach so badly I had to eat something different to everyone else on my wedding day because I couldn't digest meat! So lesson learned healthy way is only way for me and this is it, I'm shifting this weight once and for all. I started WW at 16 stone nearly 5 weeks ago and am now 14 stone 13, was so chuffed to clear 15. I am 34, 5ft 8 and hope to be about 11 stone minimum. I really want another baby but don't want to start big again. Good luck to us all. I actually love the food I eat on WW, some great recipes to do. Happy to be of any support and look forward to sharing this experience.

I'm 5'3" and was 12 stone 8 when I rejoined ww 4 weeks ago. I've lost
8lbs so far and am enjoying being back on the wagon. I lost 2.5 stone pre pregnancy, starting from 12st 7lb so I'm back in almost the exact same boat (fails to mention DD is 18m and I've been fairly relaxed about losing the large amount of cake baby weight gained...)

I have managed to stick to ww all week and have to weigh in tomorrow so am hoping I have lost.

I have a 7month old dd and have managed to put on a stone since she was born sad think its being in the kitchen all the time making feeds i end up snacking loads. I'm also suffering with my back at the mo so haven't been able to exercise as much as I usually do.

hi guys i need some advice please. I joined weightwatchers this morning. the leader isnt great though and I forgot to ask where do i get thepro points values of foods not in the folder? do i need to buy a book or is there a resource on line.

You should be able to find most pp values on the tracker online (if you have the monthly pass) other than that it might be a case of working them out using the nutritional info & the points wheel smile

Usually if you divide the calories by 40 you will get the propoints value. There are a couple of exceptions, but that's a good rough guide.

Hilde/TheMouse I did the whole "I'm breastfeeding (for a whole 4 weeks) therefore I must eat my own bodyweight in shite" for a looooing time after I gave up. Sleep deprivation is not good encouragement to lose weight for me it seems! I lost a stone on Slimming World before I went back to work after mat leave but there's no classes that fit round me working evening and Saturdays so have gone back to WW, I struggle with the lack of portions on SW too.

Exercise makes a massive difference to me, I earnt 27 activity points last week with a pilates/circuits/spinning combo and I feel so so much better in myself when I get off my bum.

The online esource stuff is brilliant and like a bloody revelation after coming back from Slimming World and their poor offerings. Chubby you sign up for monthly pass in your meetings and they give you a code to access the online stuff. I've no idea what the rules are on these things but theoretically I'm happy to look the odd bits up for you if you get stuck before you get sorted.
