Recipe of the week

penguinmum's creamy fish pie: smoky, seasonal fish in a creamy white sauce with grated, rather than mashed, tatties on top - a meal of the highest comfort-food order.

What's the most ridiculous thing you have done to try and lose weight?

My friend is doing the cayanne pepper diet (also known as the master cleanse diet) it sounds bloody bruital. You only drink this strange liquid made with lemons, maple syrup and peppers and you have to be weaned back onto solids at the end of it! shock

during a pre-op weigh in, I asked if I could take my shoes and belted jeans off blush. In my defence, it was quite a heavy belt

The cabbage soup diet. A nice figure for a week, wind and then it all piles back on 2 weeks later!

just asking cos my overwhelming desire to shift 10 pounds and get back into two 5 foot rails of clothing is only beaten by a slightly greater desire to scoff chocolate whenever something goes wrong (about twice a day). As a student I once ate only wine, chips and toast for about 2 weeks, which worked surprisingly well, but I think it might hamper my milk supply to try this now smile

Links The simplest way to insert a link is to enter the link itself, surrounded by [[ and ]]. So if you type [[www.mumsnet.com]], the link will display as http://www.mumsnet.com. If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]]. So "Look at [[www.mumsnet.com this page]]", would display "Look at this page".
