(886 Posts)
Hey Sazzles hope you don't mind the nameheck but you are our inspiration grin[crawly bumlick]
Ooh, thanks VG i will have to look at the next dates i can make. Might just be Dublin wink. Sorry the scales are stuck and hopefully a holiday will see them reduce their reading smile
Re the 10k in 1hr run by Xmas, does it mean i still have to carry on if i have achieved my goal?

Swam 40 lengths in 22 minutes whilst DD1 was having a strop about her swimming lesson hmm. I left DH to deal with it and then went for a sauna grin

Dizzy You are net 9lbs down, so a llb a week and you will have lost a stone by Xmas smile. Good news on the scales ordering BTW about bloody time woman grinwink

hots <<woo woo>>. Did i hear 11 SOMETHING???? Fabulous, fabulous news smilesmile. You have worked so hard, despite sabotaging generous relatives so well deserved.

4 exersazz completed here too (run, 2*swim and cycle)
Forgot to say Sazz: reports are YES the total immersion thing is worth it - that it will not transform your swimming there and then but will give you the tools to work with yourself - that if you are already a strong swimmer you will benefit much more.
Well done girls!! Delighted for you both hots and sazz, excellent excellent news and so WELL DESERVED. And dizzy you may be up 1 but you are also down 10 so that's a result in my book! grin Don't let those other 9 back near ya!

I think I've sort of left off weighing for the moment as am slightly fed up with it but I can report my exerSazzes achieved with three good runs this week and a short one. Main point being achieving 8K (some SWOTS did 10K grin) so have to do 9 next week.

Bon courage mes amis.
Done my swimming today -40 lengths in 40 minutes so no better but no worse than last week.
well done guys - you're doing fantastically smile
OMG Sazz that's fantastic!!!!!!!! You have worked so hard it's amazing grin

Dizz never mind on the +1 chuck, you are still -9, and now we have peer pressured talked you into some proper scales you will be weighing with us every day a bit more often and it will soon be dropping off you smile

Down 2.25lb today so am officially 11-stone-something grin albeit by a mere whisker. May have lost a bit more since weigh-in too as we have had a terrifying trauma with DD being hardly able to walk this morning shock she seems OK now but it was scary at the time. More on that story later.
-4.5lbs here shockshock

Helped by the adjustment of my 1.5lb up last week but still shockshock

I have now lost exactly 3 stone smilesmilesmile

Walking to preschool in the rain to celebrate grin
1 lb on this mornings weigh in but am not disheartened as even with managing to intake fluids again as well as beginning to eat I was expecting something - have also ordered scales online too AND remembered to weigh myself today (friday) grin

not the threads highest achieving member I'll grant you however its a start blush
Oh and sorry about the crap lunch and crappy JL stocks sad. Can you order it online? In a size 14 obviously? wink
My female intuition says YAY!!!!!

Links The simplest way to insert a link is to enter the link itself, surrounded by [[ and ]]. So if you type [[www.mumsnet.com]], the link will display as http://www.mumsnet.com. If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]]. So "Look at [[www.mumsnet.com this page]]", would display "Look at this page".
