I ate LOADS when I was pg with 5mo dd and now I am paying the price!

My main problem is that I have a lot of fat on my lower back and if that was gone I wouldnt look too bad.

How do I shift it? I walk when I can, use my exercise bike and try not to eat loads.

I have a bad back so not sure how to shift it.

Please help....

Just bumping for you because I think that I have the same problem. I think I've developed a sort of flat, square, old lady shaped bottom which I'm not ready to settle down with. Only a little over my optimum weight (I'm a big size 10) and I doubt that just weight loss would shift it. I feel like swimming might help but don;t know becasue I haven't tried!

Its an odd fat though IYKWIM. I hope I can get rid of it. Im a size 18 now, used to be a slim 14 due to big bones and now much fat. My tummy isnt hugely flabby now but this bit of extra bum is making me huge.

LOL @ extra bum grin
I have 4 extra bums I think! blush
Are you breastfeeding? I find I just can't shift weight when breastfeeding. I didn't on DS1 until I stopped feeding him at 15mths and I haven't lost any since having DS2 6mths ago, but I want to feed him for a long while yet.

<<<whispers>>> I suspect it has something more to do with the extra biscuits, rather than me feeding him, but for now I will just blame him! blush

Like you I am almost an 18, used to be a 12 but I used to be fit and have been ill since having DS2 and haven't managed to exercise yet. I can't wait to get the all clear from the hospital to get my fat off again! I found that cycling and aerobic classes worked really well for me.

Ff and always have done.

My fat in other places seems to be going but my extra bum seems to be here for good.

That will teach me for eating for 10 when I was pregnant and not exercising <sob>

Links The simplest way to insert a link is to enter the link itself, surrounded by [[ and ]]. So if you type [[www.mumsnet.com]], the link will display as http://www.mumsnet.com. If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]].
