have always struggeld with my weight/eating, i am greeedy and eat all the wrong this at the wrong times.
im 31 an weigh 16st 9lbblushblush...i have tried and treid and i find it sooo hard to lose weight, even at slimming world, when i ahve been succesful, it gradually peters off and i stick, then i lput on, then i leave, then it all goes back onsadblush.

so after fam planning clinic told me they wouldnt give me pill in 4 years if im still this weight and gp surgery wont give me pill NOWblush..i have asked for this.

I know i need to change the way/things/times i eat as well as this is meant to be an appetite surpressant, so have any of you been / are on it?, are you doing well on it?(my mum hardly lost anything, but i wonder if she changed her eating habits at allhmm)

took one as i came out this morn and feel a little dizzy?, is this normal when you first sart taking them??

Any experience or advice appreciated, thankssmile

My mum has taken these and so has my best friend. My friend lost 2stone on them and said they did supress her appetite. My mum didn't rate them much but then my mum is on HRT for the menopause and is finding losing weight a really struggle and the hormone patches haven't helped so she couldn't really judge the tablets iyswim?

What my mum has started doing - on my advice - is get off the bus earlier and walk the rest of the way into work. I even bought her trendy trainers to encourage her and she's finding that this has made more difference - toned her up and improved her mood etc

Hope this helps?

I'd love to have these, if they're speedy-type amphetamines. You'll get so much done! I'm v jealous.

I actually googled your pills! They work by flooding your brain with serotonin and noradrenaline (the speedty bit) to make you feel full longer.

SO jealous! You need a BMI of 30+ to get these from Doctor... I'm tempted to really pig out to make myself qualify!

LOL at "you need a bmi of 30+"..like thats a good thing LOLgrin...so they is a pinch of amphetamine in them then????

Strange possible side effect today, walked to playgroup and was very hot so i was sweating a bit(plus i was trying to power walkwink) and when i got there i blush was a bit wiffy under arm...am NEVER wiffy underarm????????but have also used a new soap in bath last night from lush, maybe it wasnt any good(although i didnt smell before hand, so shouldnt smell now??)..just got in and had wash, cahnged top and put deoderant on??...maybe im just a sweaty betty today??dunno??

Pink - I think the fact they suppressed her appetite, stopped her picking at junk so she wasn't snacking like she was before..so ended up eating healthy I suppose...mind you, she was a big girl to start with (over 20st) so the bigger you are, the more dramatic the weight loss when you start something so I'm not sure how it would have panned out long term as she came off them - not sure why

PinkChick,
How are things going?

I have just been prescribed reductil, and have just had my first fortnight.

I feel incredible, no snacks or rubbish, and amazingly energetic!!!

My (non-existent) libido has also got a jump-start.

Regardless of weight, I never want to stop these grin
