Come and sign up if you want to join us. We start on Monday and Bootcamp will run for 10 weeks.

Each week we will weigh in using the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness which is set up and maintained by the lovely WillieWaggleDagger.

You will also see, if you look at the tabs at the bottom of the spreadsheet, the rules as well as the list of allowed veg, and all manner of other resources to help you.

So that Willie can get the spreadsheet set up in time for our first weigh-in on Monday, please can you all sign in if you want to join?

I'll start the list, so just add your name and then cut and past the list and re-post it.

TheChocolateTeapot Tue 23-Apr-13 11:45:45

Please can someone add me to the list. Returning namechanger. Have kept off the weight from the last Bootcamp but still want/need to lose another 6kg in 10 weeks with one cheeky planned holiday

Just adding my name to the list grin

BIWI Tue 23-Apr-13 11:55:30

twinkle - Bootcamp consists of two strict weeks, followed by 8 weeks of Bootcamp Light, which is a bit more relaxed.

However, people do all manner of combinations. Some find that they like the strictness of Bootcamp and continue on that, some people to a hybrid of Bootcamp during the week and Bootcamp Light at the weekends.

It's up to you and what you find works for you.

I'm all about the flexibility grin

Signing In smile I am keeping a low profile in RL over this; as soon as I tell people I am trying to lose weight it seems I'm doomed to fail confused

I can't get my iPad to cut and paste. Can I be added in please?

Weighed myself this morning and I'm exactly a stone heavier than I was at my lightest doing low carb in August. Am super cross with myself, but motivated.

I have lost 22 lbs since Jan 7. gringrin

teaandthorazine Tue 23-Apr-13 13:03:49

Hello all

I'm probably not going to join the Bootcamp proper but if it's okay I may pop in and out! I know this might sound like overkill, but I can honestly say that Bootcamp changed my life - or at least these low-carb threads did (I wasn't always a perfect boot camper and can never eat breakfast grin) So I just wanted to let any nervous newbies know that this might well be the best decision you ever made!

I started low-carbing about this time last year, when I realised that after years of never having to watch my weight, my BMI was creeping into the overweight zone. So, not desperate straits weight wise, but I was a mindless snacker, addicted to sugar, bread and pasta, and feeling knackered, sick, bloated and lethargic all the time. In fact, I thought it was normal to feel that way.

Following BIWI's threads, I lost 20 lbs. I can honestly say it was easy. I've dropped pasta, bread, potatoes and sugar and really never looked back. I did have a blip over Xmas but as soon as I got back on the wagon, my energy returned, as did my glowing skin and flat, unbloated tummy! And the weirdest thing is, I couldn't care less if I never had a plate of pasta again.

I'm now following a slightly more 'relaxed' Primal style of eating, which allows for a bit more fruit and the odd sweet potato and occasional portion of rice. I eat very dark chocolate pretty much every day, and drink red wine or spirits. But the principles I learned on Bootcamp still remain, and I can honestly say that I'll eat this way forever. I've learned so much about food, and my body. I LOVE cooking now. It's even inspired me to consider a research proposal for my MSc (gestational diabetes and low-carb).

It is a bit unforgiving in the early days and you can feel a bit crappy in the first week but please, think of it as an education in your own body. It is SO worth it (and you can lose a lot more than 20lbs too). Apologies for the essay, and Good Luck and ENJOY IT!

AngieAir Tue 23-Apr-13 13:07:09

Add me please.

I have fallen into bad ways over the winter. Too much work, too many colds has meant too many carbs. I feel urgh.

Will wind down the carbs ready to start. Looking forward to it!

Iamaslummymummy Tue 23-Apr-13 13:14:06

I'm in. I've fallen off the wagon since the last boot camp. Depression does that to me

Please can you add me

ToomuchWaternotWine Tue 23-Apr-13 13:31:19

Hi all, I'm back in please! Lost 20lbs on the first bootcamp I did (oct-dec), put on a bit over Xmas, lost it in 2 weeks back on bootcamp and have maintained around that weight ever since quite happily. I would like to lose another half a stone but I'm needing inspiration re cooking and recipes and, of course, the banter. Looking forward to it.

ToomuchWaternotWine Tue 23-Apr-13 13:31:49

Sorry can someone add me to list too, another useless ipad user here.
