I decided to start the SW eating plan again after I fell off the wagon 5yrs ago...
Will be joining my local group next Tuesday evening. I have tried to get back on the wagon many times but this time feels different, I'm at the end of my tether with it and I'm at my shameful heaviest.

HI i did slimming world for a few months a couple of years ago before my wedding and lost about a stone and a half,i stopped doing it after the wedding and put it all back on and more!
I am actually 8 weeks pregnant and considering doing it again,i i dont tend to put much weight on when pg but inbetween pgs i do!I am 105 kg now,10 kg than i was after my son was born 7 months ago.my other pregnancies and births have all been straightforward and enjoyable and i dont want my weight to change it.
I've been doing SW since the middle of February, and go to my local group. I went tonight and lost 2.5 pounds, for a total of 6.5 pounds in 5 weeks. That was with a couple of weeks where I maintained, so I'm really pleased with that loss so far.

Really wanted to go mad and proper binge this morning so I quickly cooked some poached eggs with a slice of wm toast and a full tin of beans! I was so full afterwards, glad my 'binge' was a controlled one.
So I've had half of one HExB today.
<sigh> I want to go on a noce long walk right now but I can't cos my brothers coming over. Moan moan grumble grumble.
Had my weigh in this morning...another 1lb off taking total loss to 1st 4lb in 6weeks. I'll be stepping up the workouts this week and taking the toddler out on long walks in the big 3 wheeler buggy. I wish the weight was coming off a bit quicker, we're off back to Disneyland Paris in July and I want to take the kids on Crush's Coaster...I've always been too scared to try before In case I'm too fat for the harness
How is everyone? I thought I'd have had loads of posts to catch up on but nope! It's been my daughters birthday here and then I was ill so that's the reason for my absence. I haven't strayed from SW a single bit though!
I got weighed last Tuesday and had lost just 1lb but wasn't too bothered as I was ill anyway and at least it wasn't a gain...
We tried a new recipe this week, lemon and Greek yoghurt Cajun chicken kebabs. I didn't actually get to taste them as I left them for my husband - but he said they were amazing!! I'll post the recipe soon, they were very easy, literally put all ingredients in a ziploc bag to marinate (I left them 22hrs in the fridge) and then skewer them up into kebabs and grill

I also made an awesome BBQ sauce this week, totally syn free and really tasty. Will also post recipe for that when I get chance. I used it as a marinade/cooking sauce to make hunters chicken. Today I'm using it to marinate potatoes! It's so lovely
Hi all. Back on the wagon tomorrow although I have a site throat coming and don't fancy the gym which is a shame. Any inspiration for my work lunch tomorrow? I like something I can eat hot in this cold weather brrrrr.
I have been what my MIL calls a "big girl" for years now, and put on more weight when pregnant and BF DD1. Had DD2 14 wks ago but bizarrely was 13lb lighter after giving birth than I was when I got pregnant! Felt really good about it (thinking good to start eating plan not on back foot) but have been inhaling food since then and now feel gargantuan! Keep thinking as BFing that I can afford the extra cals
Going to start on SW again - will dig out my old book and am off to buy some scales today.

Hi everyone, Thread seems to have slowed down so I thought I'd post a quick catch up (this thread had fallen off the 'threads I'm on' it's been so long.) So it's weigh-day for me again on Monday... I've not had a bad week, but it has been the most stressful week at work and I didn't eat at all thurs/Fri, as I felt sick with worry, so Fri evening after work I had cake AND chocolate to.give me a boost before Bootcamp.
Hope everyone else is still doing ok, I've decided that my small change this week will be increase the amount of water I'm drinking daily, as I'm now drinking water everyday, but I think I could drink more to see a better effect.
Hi all, some Fab weight losses this week, well done you lot! I misdeed my meeting on Monday as a meeting after work over ran, so I had the intention of going tomorrow night to another group until I remembered that's parents evening (last one if the year, Woohoo!) So I'll just have to wait till Monday.
I've been to 2 boot camp sessions so far, boy are they hard work, but it feel good to be doing some exercise along with the eating plan
Today I have had belvita breakfast biscuits for breakfast (probably terribly high in syns, but it was my only option when I was late leaving the house), chicken salad for lunch, and stir fry for dinner. Hoping for a good loss this week with the eating and exercise combined!

Ooh last night I was told that if you do slimming world chips (or in our case little potato squares) in the actifry and halfway through, put a jelly beef stock pot in then it flavours the chips and, apparently, is yummy indeed! (I don't know how that would relate to the oven version of the chips - we don't have an oven at present)
Next week's recipe is chocolate orange cake made with chickpeas instead of flour - quite excited to see that one!
I'm trying to get back on it and not doing too badly. I'm eating far less and my tummy is looking quite flat. I'm so chuffed I keep touching it. People will think I'm insane. Not done any exercise but will do over the weekend.
Right, have tried to save the rolll call list to my laptop but something isn't working right and it isn't saving or typing in the font/size I'd like to. -piece- -of- -crap.- So, I'll try and save it as a draft on my email on my iphone, or in my notes maybe. <lightbulb moment>

My food diary for today: breakfast: porridge with extra sweetener as I'm craving sugary stuff!
lunch: chicken fried rice the SW way.
Tea: Roast chicken with SW chips and a splash of gravy, or beans. Haven't decided yet.
