Hey, I'm really hoping someone can help me. My son is now 4 months old and I weigh 4lb less than before I got pregnant.

I've always been a size 12 with quite a flat tummy. But now, even though I weigh less I look much bigger as my middle looks really big. My hips & waist in particular are really flabby for want of a better word.

How can this be given I weigh less? I'm confused? I've never really been a dieter just are what I wanted and cut back a little when my jeans got tight so I don't really understand.

Your skin has been stretched which makes you appear wobbly. Your hips may stay wider as your pelvis has probably opened out to allow room for your baby. Personally I'm back to the weight I was pre-baby but am a completely different shape still (much thicker waist, smaller boobs sad ) and my DS is nearly 2. It's a lot better now though, probably kept improving until DS was about 12 months now I think I just have to accept this is my new shape. Maybe if I spent hours at the gym it would change, but honestly can't be bothered grin
