Can't link to this from old thread but thought I'd start a new one as the old one was getting full and kept crashing my kindle.
I was doing really well today until DH fucked up there was an unexpected delay in eating the evening meal so I ate some biscuits.
The trouble is, if I don't eat I get migraines so it was the lesser of two evils.
Still, I shall log them on MFP and be back on track tomorrow.
That's the spirit.
Ooooh, I've just added the biscuits and I'm under my calorie goal - the day isn't a great example of a balanced dit but it isn't an unmitigated disaster
Hola chiefs! Back in the saddle after falling off spectacularly yesterday. Even had cake and ice cream for pudding and stayed under, phew. Have been dragging DCs around on sledges like a husky, hoping that is burning up the calories. Wish the snow would clear off, being stuck indoors is leading me to bored snooping for snacks.
Caught up on the thread now.
Weekends are a bitch, aren't they? Throw our routines out and parade all these temptations in front of us.
We should be glad it's Monday tomorrow.
Need to order my Internet shop tomorrow for delivery on Tuesday.
Additions this week are:
Quinoa
Bulgar wheat
Quavers
Curly wurly's
Anything else I should add that is yummy and low calorie?
I'm over but only a little. Don' t feel too bad about it as mfp told me I' d be lots thinner if I kept it up for 5 weeks! Culprit was a cupcake at a birthday party - my 2 don't like the icing pair of weirdos so I fell on it like a fox on a dropped kebab ate it to demonstrate that some unfamiliar things can be delicious IT WAS MY PARENTING DUTY, OK?
I was AWOL for the last week on the other thread as I was mainlining crap so didn't want to be on the thread when I knew I was only cheating myself and didn't want to derail anyone elses effort.
So this week I am choosing my hard, back to logging on MFP, and eating sensibly.
wisekneehair I got some Ryvita Sunbites, chilli flavour. Lush and 120something cals a bag. Recommend those.
evening all
Got home this evening after a brilliant weekend in Paris with DS1. Sorry about my drunk ramblings last night! after going to bed at 4.30am, I was up at 8.30 and we went out to do a lightning tour of the sights in 2 hours before the train home! No time to eat! And no hangover thanks to it being lovely pure (neat) bison grass vodka.
Looking forward to weigh-in tomorrow
You're all doing really well! Love reading the diaries on MFP and seeing the different exercises you do. WHAT is an elliptical trainer??!
Blimey are Curly Wurly's low cal?
karatekimmi
Meltingly soft unctuous plums, gently kissed by Madagascan vanilla. Lovingly covered with fabulously buttery, granola esque crumble. Heaven on a spoon, coated in thick double cream.
Does that work for you?
Yours, nigelladinky
It's a cross-trainer pinky.
dinky, that was obscene
Ooh Nigelladinky, I think I'm having palpitations...
That sounds yum! Have just weighted, and have lost 6 pounds! Admittedly it's over a couple of weeks but still v chuffed.
Lapsed dreadfully over the weekend so think next week's weigh-in won't be very good as the wine and chips will have found their way on, but will worry about that next Monday...
I find it much easier to stick to during the week, although all this snow isn't helping. DDs school still not confirmed if they are open or not, so may have them under my feet too, which will almost certainly send me to the biscuits.....
Hope everyone ready for another week of choosing our hard xx
Well done Tabby that's great!
Well done Tabby!
For shopping list, someone mentioned babybel light (40cals) and I recommend meringue nest (approx. 50cals)
Morning Chiefs.
Tabby - that's wonderful.
Oh Dinky. That sounds heavenly filthy. Mmmmmmm.
Lizzy Rossendale is really lovely. I studied mills for a couple of years (WTF) and i'm sure I did a field trip there. I am from the not so pictureque Wazza, and I'm so old that it was a Lancashire town when I was born! Now residing in Somerset. I've now got Pie Envy and Industrial Revolution Envy.
Today I will be good until I go out with pals for tea
Morning! Just place marking, I've started losing again so this weigh in I should be able to say a loss hopefully!
Had a bit of a drama last night. My Xbox has stopped working and my DVD player remote has vanished so my attempts to do shred have been thwarted. I'm going to play it through my laptop though [determined]
Well done tabby, that's fab!
Well the trip to school was unsuccessful due to sliding around all over the roads, so have given up and have 2 permanently hungry children with me all day (and probably all week at this rate!). Will probably do some cooking with them to pass the time - what healthy things could I make?
It might have been obscene but I enjoyed it <starts hunting for healthy crumble recipes>
I am loving the links to good food recipes, lots of inspiration to keep me on track! I have bought bulgar wheat and cous cous to try to cook for the first time!
Excellent loss Tabby well done.
Raven Curly Wurlys are 115 calories. If you put them in the freezer, they can take a while to eat, so good for a chocolate treat.
Don't, however, buy a five pack and eat them all at once. Not that I would ever do that, oh no. <<whistles innocently>>
Double just make something they love so much that they will eat it all, leaving none for you.
The. Old weather certainly makes me feel hungry. I swear pulling DCs on sledges to get from a to b uses up the calories especially uphill.
Aim not to used that as an excuse to binge but has a giant bowl of porridge this morning.
Hmm they love cheese scones, might make those as I can take them or leave them (but obviously usually take them!).
Well done Tabby! And everyone else
I desperately want to eat left over pizza. The thought of it being wasted is terrible. Maybe I could eat it, but log it as a full serving as punishment? I can't even attempt to shuffle run it off as the snow is too deep now.
Oh god, I'm going to have to take the wrapping off the Shred DVD aren't I?
