It's a while since we "met" on the Big/Slim/Whatever Weight Loss Club, but with a few of us back on the Boot Camp and SW, we thought it would be good to re-start our own small support thread
I'm doing Boot Camp and have lost 5lb since Monday
2012 was a pretty shitty year - I'm looking forward to 2013 being better and this is a start!
None that I can see yet Smalline
I am however being anal very conscientious about exfoliating/body polishing every shower/bath, moisturising afterwards and also (with my lovely Clarins Extra Rich Body Lotion) moisturising all over before going to bed.
I don't know if the amount of water and fat I have been having helps.
I am now three notches in on the belt I am using to benchmark my progress
Wow Pretty I am so pleased for you

I worry though, how can I ask this without offending you, cos we are both ladies of a certain age
are there any drawbacks with the weight coming off so quickly?
I lost the plot last week, couldn't 'fast' and was not eating as healthily as I should, sort of back on it this week but have put on a pound, hoping for better results this week, hopefully lots of walking and moving about which should shift a pound or two.
How are you doing Blondes and Crumb
Another 3lb off, so I've broken the 12stone barrier! 11stone 13lb
How are the rest of you doing?
Dh is thinking of joining me on Boot Camp, as he's impressed with my progress. Not sure he'll enjoy the two week no alcohol rule though
BTW - I did have a glass and a half of Cava on Friday, but then made dh drink on his own the rest of the weekend.
And I gave away the two toffees I got given as part of the cycling skills course I did on Saturday: we had to pick up a toffee from the coach's outstretched hand, cycle on while unwrapping it, do a tight U-turn, eat it and then give the next rider a high 5. <smug emoticon>
Well done pretty
I had a very bad weekend eating choc cheese white bread and drinking wine as went to stay with my friend
Was lush though
Will accept a gain on Friday with good grace
"Officially" weighed in yesterday with the 2lb loss I'd already seen middle of last week
, so 12 stone 2lb
Still pleased though - that's a stone since 7 January!
I have to admit though to a sneaky hope that I can break the 12stone barrier by Thursday. The reason is that I'd kept that objective in unrealistic though it was for my "Month" objectives - most of which had been written down in the wee planner thing I have at some point last year (when I wasn't over 13stone). So when I wrote it, it didn't involve losing 1 stone 3lb in a month - but I've come bloody close!
(Most of the other objectives I had to totally re-write)
I STS on Monday - which is what I expected, especially after my lovely boozy Burns Supper
But I did a sneaky weigh-in yesterday and had lost two pounds (which were still "lost" this morning), which means that since 7 January I have lost a stone!

Well done Blondes, I'm joining you in the 2lb club this week
a total of 7lbs off so far.
Keeping my fingers crossed for you Pretty
How are you doing Crumb?
Well done Blondes.
I enjoyed my Burns Supper last night and didn't stray too far. Still think I'll be lucky if I lose anything this week ( might manage a pound) as Week 3 and 4 of LC Bootcamp are notoriously poor for weight loss. I just need to be patient.
2 lbs off
Thanks Pretty, I really admire your determination
I'll keep my fingers crossed for you too.
My weight loss has stopped - but I was expecting it to. If I can lose one or two pounds by Monday I'll be happy, but if I don't, then I need to look at the longer term picture, ie I've already lost 12lb since 7January
I'm still bring really good though - continuing on full Boot Camp although I did have two brazil nuts today but I have a planned "cheat" tomorrow when there will sugar and oats in the cranachan (the whisky, raspberries and cream are all allowed in this Way of Eating) and the oats in the haggis
It'll also be my first alcohol since the 7th!
Well done Blondes & Pretty on your losses
.
praying for a loss this week but not exactly holding my breath.
It's not pathetic - it's all progress!
Keep that going and you'll reach your goal in a sustainable way.
5lbs loss
Well done
makes my lb seem pathetic
Another 5lb - that's 12lb in two weeks and I'm down to 12stone 4lb

I know it'll slow up but it's a damn good start!
thanks
pretty how was wi today?
Blondes - congratulations on your pound!
Smalline - you do need to look at things as averages over a few weeks - and that's still a good result!
My official weigh in is not until Monday but so far I have lost another 5lb, so even if I fluctuate slightly, should be a good result for the week
I don't expect this rate of weight loss to continue!
Dh says he can see a difference, particularly around my middle and I can now get back into my pre-stretched Size 14 jeans
Given I need a new pair as one of the seams at the crotch is giving way, this is good news - although I can't quite go to M&S/Sainsbury's yet (I only want to get a cheap pair initially as I'm hoping to "transition though" Size 14
) as I probably couldn't yet fit into non-pre-stretched new Size 14s.
1 lb off for me- 20 4 in 2 weeks and yes better to look a monthly then weekly
No weight loss for me this week, I'm a little disappointed, but I'm still going to carry on, I'll just have to look at it as 5lbs loss in 2 weeks
.
I will be doing the shred again tomorrow and a hike!
Thanks pretty
Don't worry about the tortilla chips. Just get yourself back into the "Zone" and keep going.
Well done on doing the Shred - especially with dd around. I always find it very difficult to do my exercise DVDs when ds is in the house (although I did manage to do Ripped last Saturday - and Sunday was allowed as my day "off")
