Started a new thread... Hope ok!

juneybean Sun 20-Jan-13 12:57:37

Do we have a new thread yet?

DoubleMum Sun 20-Jan-13 12:32:58

Hmm I think I would have to throw the double cream away! But it does freeze, so you could freeze it in DH-size portions! Or if you whizz it long enough in the mixer it will turn into butter.

I weigh in once a week on Wednesday but do sneak a peak every other day. Yesterday said 2lbs off but we shall see.
Kettlecise done, was tough but done. Definitely my favourite class of the week, can see results pretty quickly too.
Buzzy I married a lancashire man. Never had so much pastry or bread in my life pre dh.
Stay away from the cream! That muesli sounds lovely.

buzzybuzzybeeshoes Sun 20-Jan-13 11:04:36

Yeah he does, but he' s the type who would think "better go for a run tomorrow" AND THEN DO IT rather than skip his pie iyswim doublemum?

Honestly I can't recommend the muesli highly enough. About a third oats and then the rest is seeds, toasted almonds and pecans, cranberries, dates and pineapple.

There's nearly a whole carton of double cream in the fridge as DH spends £948 on ingredients he needs almost none of whenever he cooks It can FUCK OFF. It is NOT going to get me.

Morning Chiefs.
Sassy glad you had a good night. Unfortunately, I can't lust after Lewis because I used to take the DC to toddler sessions at the gym he trains at. This started about 8-9 years ago. He would often be there training, but of course then he was just a child -- with impressive muscles--, so it feels wrong to lust after him now.
Pinky how's the head? Love the idea of a drunken diet thread.
I log my weight once a week as any differences on a day by day basis are going to be more fluid related. I do however weigh myself half a dozen times once a day.

RandallPinkFloyd Sun 20-Jan-13 10:36:36

I weigh once a week on a Wednesday. Just before my main evening meal. It's the most accurate time of day apparently as that is when you are at your average weight for the day iyswim.

It's hard to resist the temptation to have a sneaky peak so I pack the scales away in the mean time!

DoubleMum Sun 20-Jan-13 10:33:37

I must try that muesli BTW.

DoubleMum Sun 20-Jan-13 10:33:10

Oh dear buzzy. He does know you're trying to lose weight doesn't he?!
I am weighing as a weigh-in on Tuesday mornings, but I do weigh myself most mornings as I don't like surprises.

buzzybuzzybeeshoes Sun 20-Jan-13 10:29:05

Yesterday went wrong. Went over my limit by 876 cal but in my defence DH cooked. I do feel that if he disappears into the kitchen for FOUR (4) HOURS he could produce something more supportive than homemade cheese and onion pie with thick pastry, followed by homemade mince pies he is from the North West and likes pies It was 9pm before it appeared and I had already eaten a crisp sandwich <knew I was in for double pie and thought fuck it all emoticon>

Today I have had muesli, chopped apple and real coffee. Muesli is Aldi Extremely Exotic, which is by some distance the nicest muesli in the world.

noddyholder Sun 20-Jan-13 10:27:52

Are we all only weighing once a week. I weigh every morning to keep on track.

Notfootball Sun 20-Jan-13 10:21:32

I weigh myself once a week, on Sunday morning before I eat/drink anything. I think it gives me the most accurate weight for the week.

noddyholder Sun 20-Jan-13 10:05:05

I find if I eat something at about 6.30 I am fine. Afternoons I can't stop if I start! Soup helps

namechanger11111 Sun 20-Jan-13 10:04:38

How often do people weigh? I had feeling I'd lost some weight so had a sneaky weigh this morning and was 1lb down. I don't want to log it though in case it comes back before official weigh day on Tuesday. I'm wondering though if weighing only when i can feel I've lost something instead of once a week is such a bad thing?

DoubleMum Sun 20-Jan-13 10:01:37

noddy sometimes I can not eat in the evenings, others it seems like eating is all I can do.

noddyholder Sun 20-Jan-13 09:48:28

I always have a croissant Sunday am and that's it with being bad! Am going to make a massivevsoup today and will eat that until Wednesday Maureen I am not under 9'4 I am 60kg which is more I need to be 58kg max to lose gut. Good luck this week all definitely think not eating in the evenings has worked here

Notfootball Sun 20-Jan-13 08:49:16

Well done Mo,Bups and all - your perseverance has paid off. I have had a few days of over-stuffing, going 500 caps over and was scared to weigh in this morning. Pleased to stay that I have remained the same, it must be due to shredding and Zumba. Back on track today losers.

Lizzylou Sun 20-Jan-13 08:26:49

How you feeling today Pinky? wink

Sassy I could have done an evening of swooning at Lewis, lovely firm thighs.

PinkyCheesy Sun 20-Jan-13 02:39:37

Ooo Eck is this not the dieting drunk thread? its 3.30 am in Paris and my 2 friends and I are half way down a litre of bison grass vodka and listening to wanky prog rock. Suffice to say ,my diet hasn't gone entirely to plan this weekend grin

DoubleMum Sat 19-Jan-13 22:10:29

I have succumbed to ryvita. I can't be going to bed hungry.

HeyHeySaturday Sat 19-Jan-13 22:04:29

Ah double when I've had that I've gone over but with something reasonably healthy if i can. I think going over with a banana or some nuts is acceptable. ignores own yearning for Doritos

DoubleMum Sat 19-Jan-13 21:38:12

OK I have eaten all my calories but 50 and I am inexplicably hungry. Aaaagh!

DoubleMum Sat 19-Jan-13 21:24:29

Ooh I'd have loved to have seen that Sassy, and DD as long as her favourite Dani was there.

sassytheFIRST Sat 19-Jan-13 21:03:35

Shocking day today - however had bags of fun at Strictly Come Dancing Live which was Fab U Lous, darling.

Lost another lb this morning, fully expect it back on tomoz. Unless all that lusting over lewis smith and the male professional dancers used up more cals than one would expect! Strangely, doesn't seem to be listed on mfp!!
