I have just acquired some for Christmas, an 8kg one which I can barely manoeuvre and a smaller one. Was thinking of getting a dvd as I don't really know what to do with them. Legs and backside are a disaster area so I'm really hoping I can tone up.
I had four weeks with a PT showing me the technique and correct stance and positioning to swing them in order to get results and not injure yourself. There must be something on you tube I would imagine, apparently kettle bell swinging is vet effective but you must use heavy weights as soon as the weight is ok it's time to go up at least 1kgs
