You might try excluding all gluten from your diet. The supermarkets have perfectly decent bread and cakes - a special mention for Genius bread which really is very good compared to the heavy bread "bricks" of old. I have had IBS as long as I can remember and always thought nothing really triggered it but a homeopath suggested I go gluten free and it was a revelation. She said it would take about 10 days gluten free to see the results. After 5 days I suddenly realised no more IBS. Can't believe it never occurred to me to try excluding gluten before. I would also recommend the Harcombe Diet by Zoe Harcombe which is sold as a diet book but which is also an excellent exclusion diet for anyone with candida (ie me). I found it very easy to follow as you still have plenty of food choices.
I can't offer advice I'm afraid because I'm the same. I am in the process of being diagnosed with ME/CFS and the Dr suggested an anti candida diet. Crikey it's hard. Have to admit I have currently gone back to ww the old style as the only thing weight wise that worked for me as I got to gold. However, I am today having yet again another flare up and wonder if the ww sweet stuff is to blame I found I could stick to it for about 3 months but then got bored. I will admit though I felt better and a lot of my issues like sinus probs, joint pain, sore throats calmed down. But it is sooooo hard so yep in totally feel for you.

Supplements of chromium and cinnamon are meant to help stabilise blood sugar and help with sugar cravings. I managed to do without refined sugars for about three years except for very dark chocolate. Ideally you should cut out coffee and strong tea too. You could bake with wholemeal flour/alternative flour and xylitol instead of sugar - it's a natural sugar substitute. 'Tis sooo difficult. You have my sympathy.
I am in the throes of trying to get rid of candida having had 2 doses of antibiotics this summer - its like my usual ibs symptoms but worse - bloating wind diarrhoea indigestion - i try to avoid the foods that make it worse - sugar, bread, carbs, acidic stuff - but then part of me self sabotages - its like as if i rebel and want to eat a "normal" diet. why can't i just cut out the foods that are not doing me any good I take acidopholous, garlic pills and try to eat lots of veg, live yoghurt and unprocessed foods BUT i cant resist having cake and digestive biscuits. Has anyone got any ideas /advice etc
