It is hard, and so you must be kind to yourself. A month is nothing when you have just had a baby.

You need good, nutritious food so that you can fully recover from your birth - the worst thing you could do is try some kind of crash diet with a view to losing a stone by Christmas, especially if you are breastfeeding.

Wait a couple of weeks to lose a bit of the swelling, and then buy a couple of outfits that you feel good in.

I need to lose 3 stones! I feel very blobby and miserable as I can't wear anything decent at the moment. All my maternity stuff was under the bump which is useless for after a c section birth.

I shall have a look at MuTu. Sounds good. Im cutting out rubbish stuff but its hard to not reach for a biscuit when you're tired and have a clingy baby.

If you just start walking and cut out sugary and processed foods then I think you will lose loads. C-section tummies take a while to go down, you will probably still have internal swelling where you are healing.

Also google MuTu. It is a brilliant system, but starts with just walking, cutting the crap out and some very gentle tummy exercises once you are 6 weeks post-birth.

Not sure how much detail you want smile but calorie counting (myfitnesspal) and walking I think are the best way - Especially after a csection...

I'm 8 weeks out and trying to do the same, eagerly anticipating any other good advice you get here

How much do you have to lose overall?

I weighed 4 lbs less than pre-pregnancy 4 weeks out from csection (but I am a fat cow well overweight and so have lost weight in both pregnancies. I also didn't lose while breastfeeding last time, but don't really want to wait a year before I get to where I want to be smile

Hope you get lots of fab tips x

Obviously I don't want to go on a crazy diet but I have a huge jelly belly that I want to get rid of. I've been invited to my sil for Christmas day and want to look fairly decent.
Im bf but unfortunately im not one of those who drops weight while bf - I have to put effort into it.
Im going to start walking with the buggy from next week.

Can anyone recommend a decent food and exercise plan please?
