I have a pretty big move coming up in just under 9 months. want to be at my ideal weight by then. This will involve losing a minimum of 5 stones (70lbs). I have come to the conclusion that doing a crazy all or nothing weightloss plan isn't going to work for me. what ordinarily happens is that I lose loads to begin with, then it all goes to pot and I put it all back on again.
So... would anyone like to join me. My first target is 10lbs by the end of november. I will just be eating lower carb, less snacking, more exercise where possible (7 mo dd and dh who works shifts, so a bit of a challenge sometimes!).
I'm quite happy with my calorie counting thank you
You can still buy tasty, just healthy tasty! I had fish and roast veggies for tea delicious!!
still here and (very) slowly diminishing. Being snowed in is good for my walking exercise regime.
Hiya, I'm still here too.
Bad week last week, DS2 was up every 2 hours every night (it will be night 12 of sleep hell tonight, although things are beginning to look up!) and sleep deprivation also deprived me of kit kat resistance. Still managed to scrape a pound though so I was pleased.
I've been pretty good this week but have had a couple of slices of freshly baked white bread, too hard to resist when it smells so good!
MrsL we need a plan to get you back on track! I found it really hard after Christmas so I did it in stages. The first week I ensured all my meals were healthy but I was still snacking and then on the second week I managed to snack more to plan. Also why do you want to lose weight? If you stop and really think about the reasons perhaps that will help with motivation.
A pound is great, especially in this cold when we just want to eat comfort food
Another 2 pounds this week so still on track for the 3 stone for my brother's wedding
Fantastic! You're doing brilliantly!
Spreadsheet
Good losses this week!
Well done this week everyone. Think I'm getting back on track, despite being 3lbs heavier then when we started in October.
Thank you for your little talk on Sunday Chocchip it's got me thinking this week. Think I'm possibly a little bit depressed and realised my messy love life is getting to me.
I am working on doing this for me and my DC to be healthy and putting everyone else 2nd to that.
Well done everyone! A great week!
mrsL sorry you're going through a tough time. I seem to really struggle with food when I'm going through a rough patch, but if you can get on top of your diet then I'm sure having control of just one part of your life will help you feel a bit better.
Hi all,
Ive lost another 2 pounds this week, I have really got into the healthy eating, ive never been able to do it before.
Every time i think about eating something unhealthy, i just think is it worth getting fat for? At the rate i was going, i would just keep going up through the dress sizes, you cant keep doing that can you?
Hope everyone has had a good week.
Well done flipflopper great to see the pounds coming off. You're sounding really motivated
Well done flipflopper ! Great loss!
still going....onwards & downwards.
Well done fries! Bring on February!
Hi all, I've had a shocking week. By some small miracle I lost 1/2 pound though!
I'm going to be absolutely 100% on plan this week to make up for it.
Hope everyone else has had a better week.
Oh no! Still a loss is a loss. Not sure I'll have a loss this week, have been poorly and medicating with soothers and cough mixture which I am sure are full of sugar!
Well done MrsL!
Juneybean at least you know why you gained
are you feeling better now?
I'm back on track this week, we'll see what Wednesday's Weekly Weigh-in holds.
Yes feeling much better thank you, hopefully I will be back on track this week!
Good luck for Wednesday!
3.5 off this week
Hope everyone does well tomorrow
Wow brilliant loss! Well done you!
I lost the 2lbs I put on last week! Pity I wish it could have been a 1lb more
Well done anyway juneybean, 2lbs is still a lot in one week.
I gained 0.5 this week
although my scales at home show a loss and finally in the 16s! I ate loads before my weigh in for some reason so hopefully it will show up next week. I have a wedding on Saturday so will have to work extra hard the rest of the week.
Hope everyone else has a better week!
I've been very naughty this week and tonight blew it all for a takeaway so will expect a gain tomorrow! But back on it next week!
Hope you enjoyed it!
I did! But I do have morning-after guilt today haha!
I've updated the spreadsheet, a 1lb on so not too bad!
